Calculator Use

Temperature conversions are accomplished using a formula that varies based on the two temperature scales being converted.

For instance, to convert 50 degrees Celsius (centigrade) to Fahrenheit, we would use the following formula. °F = °C * 9/5 + 32

For example :

°F = 50 * 9/5 + 32

°F = 90 + 32

°F = 122

50 degrees Celsius is equivalent to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
